Summary

The objective of this study is to develop a high-efficiency double effect absorption cycle using multi-heat sources for tri-generation(trigen) application. H2O/LiBr is used as the working fluid of the absorption cycle. The double effect absorption refrigeration system for trigen application uses high temperature steam and hot water generated from industrial process as the multi-heat sources. This paper compares the double effect absorption cycles with parallel, serial and reverse flows depending on the arrangements of generators. The results show that the double effect absorption cycles with the parallel flow is the most suitable for trigen application.
