Heat and moisture transfer in thin silica gel beds.
Author(s) : KAFUI K. D.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Transfer of heat and humidity (water vapour) in thin, microporous silica gel beds laid out parallel to one another are studied. The apparatus is simulated and results are studied for different sized pores and different air velocities. Application: refrigeration production systems employing air dessication and hygroscopic product (dessicant) regeneration.
