THIS REPORT GIVES A SURVEY OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF HEAT PUMP MARKET IN THE FRG DURING THE LAST 5 YEARS. IT IS CONCISE WITH RESPECT TO THE ENGINEERING SIDE. IN THIS REGARD, AS WELL AS PRESENTING COMPARISONS WITH OTHER HEATING SYSTEMS, IT REFERS TO THE REPORT OF THE < WEC AD HOC COMMITTEE ON COMBINED HEAT AND POWER AND HEAT PUMPS > PRESENTED IN 1981. ALTHOUGH FUTURE TRENDS HAVE BEEN OUTLINED, THESE ARE NOT SUFFICIENTLY RELIABLE AS TO TAKE THIS OUTLOOK TO BE A FORECAST.
