CZECHOSLOVAKIA PAYS GREAT ATTENTION TO THE REDUCTION IN THE ENERGY CONSUMPTION OF VENTILATION EQUIPMENT. VZDUCHOTECHNIKA NOVE MESTO N.V. DEVELOPED HEAT PIPE EXCHANGERS AND HAVE INTRODUCED THEM INTO PRACTICE. FOLLOWING A DESCRIPTION OF THESE HEAT EXCHANGERS FOR HEAT RECOVERY, THE OPERATING CONDITIONS ARE REFERRED TO AND THE CALCULATION STEPS PRESENTED. IN CONCLUSION, THE AUTHORS ILLUSTRATE THE STEPS OF CALCULATION BY AN EXAMPLE.
