Heat transfer analysis on artificially rough surfaces.

Author(s) : TIRELI E., MARTINOVIC D.

Summary

The paper aims at presenting the research results of the frictional resistance and heat transfer on artificially rough surfaces in order to establish the regularity of the transformation depending on flow conditions. The dependence of fractional resistance and heat transmission has been established for the wide flow range by empirical formulas and equations of criteria. Apart from understanding the flow process, the results of research can be applied to the projecting of various types of heat exchangers.
