Summary

It is shown that under certain regime parameters the use of artificial dot turbulence promoters can result in 20-45% augmentation of heat release, accompanyed by equal or less growth of resistance. In visual investigations the arising of longitudinal vortical structures being a possible reason of enhancement was revealed in the near-wall region behind turbulence promoters.
