Summary
THE OBJECT, WITH A SIZE SIMILAR TO THAT OF THE PARTICLES OF THE FLUIDISED BED, IS SIMULATED BY A THERMISTOR (WITH NEGATIVE TEMPERATURE COEFFICIENT) MAKING POSSIBLE THE DIRECT MEASUREMENT OF THE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT BETWEEN THE FLUIDISED BED AND THE FIXED PARTICLE-OBJECT (1 OR 2 MM). THE RESULTS ARE GIVEN AS THE DEVELOPMENT, IN TERMS OF FLUIDISATION RATE, OF THE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT FOR VARIOUS FLUIDISED BEDS (PARTICLES WITH VARIOUS NATURES AND SIZES). THE AUTHOR SHOWS A DIFFERENCE IN THE NATURE OF THE HEAT TRANSFER BETWEEN FLUIDISED BED AND A FIXED PARTICLE AND BETWEEN THE BED AND THE MOVING PARTICLE. J.R.
