Summary

TEST STUDY FOR TWO DIFFERENT FINNED TUBE PATTERNS PLUNGED IN R11 UNDER SATURATION CONDITIONS. THE AUTHORS SHOW THAT THE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT IS AFFECTED BY SIDE FLOWS AS LONG AS CONVECTION EFFECTS ARE PREDOMINANT (THERMAL FLOW DENSITY LOWER THAN 2,000 W/M2 ). OBTENTION OF TOTAL HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT FOR HIGHER THERMAL FLOW DENSITIES AND FOR THE PART OF A 18-TUBE BUNDLE WHERE THERE IS A TWO-PHASE ON-FLOW, FROM A SIMPLIFIED 2-TUBE PATTERN.
