Summary
Circulating oil in refrigeration processes influences the heat transfer during evaporation and condensation respectively. A literature study was conducted to show the up to date research status regarding this topic. In connection with a newly started research project at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, R744 (carbon dioxide) and minichannel applications were focused upon.
