Summary

The conceptual project of a modern heating, ventilating and warm water system for a passive detached family house has been presented. Owing to very good insulation of the house and devices using renewable heat sources (ground heat exchanger, heat pump, solar collector) for the above mentioned purposes, the costs of exploitation of the house are low compared with traditional systems. Heat losses and heat gains have been calculated. Compact heating with heat pump (air/water), solar collectors, ground heat exchanger, mechanical ventilating system as well as electric heaters and electric fibres may have been selected for the designed system. The system is good enough to ensure comfort living conditions for the inhabitants during winter and summer. The proposed system provides adequate air conditions, it is environmentally friendly, maintenance is easy and simple owing to a modern control system, and exploitation will be long-lasting and failure-free.
