Type of article: Article
Summary
In the case of ventilation air treatment in mild climate examined here, and limited to the plants where the traditional cooling coil is used for dehumidification, it is possible to achieve advantages by evaporative cooling of return air, especially if in the presence of a double heat recovery system. In the applications analyzed here, the advantages are better than those predicted in the presence of a hygroscopic recuperator, especially in dry climates.
