THE DEVELOPMENT OF A HIGHLY EFFICIENT SCREW COMPRESSOR WITH A NEW ROTOR PROFILE, WHICH HAS ENABLED THE MANUFACTURERS TO OFFER THREE SINGLE-STAGE MODELS (20, 30 AND 45 KILOW) AND TWO TWO-STAGE MODELS (20 AND 35 KILOW). THIS PROFILE IS UNMATCHED FOR HIGH EFFICIENCY AND WAS DEVELOPED FOR LEAKAGE REDUCTION AS THE CHIEF AIM, MAKING THE BEST USE OF THE OIL FILM SEALING EFFECT AND MINIMIZING THE BLOW-HOLE AREA AND SEAL-LINE LENGTH. THE NEW ROTORS GIVE 10TO 20% INCREASE IN COP OVER CONVENTIONAL UNITS, THEY HAVE A LOW NOISE FACTOR, MINIMUM VIBRATION, ARE OF COMPACT DESIGN, EASY TO MAINTAIN AND ARE ENERGY-SAVING SYSTEMS.
