Summary
In the measurements of the magnetic susceptibility of solid helium 3, a sample cell must withstand pressures up to 20 megapascals and it must be made from nonmetallic materials to allow the alternating-current magnetic field to penetrate into the sample. The cell which was made from Stycast 1264 withstood 25 megapascals.
