Summary
Goals for 2010: -20% GHG emissions, improving energy efficiency by 20% and 20% renewable energies in overall energy production. This EDF (Electricité de France) study reviews energy requirements. Heat-pump recovery principles and performance were validated using a small prototype within the framework of a thesis at EDF/Mines ParisTech/BEL. HT heat pumps are being tested and the implementation of an experimental ultra-high tempretature heat pump is planned for September 2011.
