Summary
Using the example of long term storage of kern fruits, the different storage conditions together with the construction of such a plant are described. The measures carried out during a storage period explain the operation principle of a fuzzy logic control, in charge of the complete management of the plant, that is to say the heating, cooling, humidification, deshumidification, cyclic air change and defrosting.Thanks to the fuzzy logic it is possible to control exactly the ambient temperature and humidity of air, without external humidification devices, for a minimum operation cost and a maximum quality of the product at the end of the storage period.
