Summary

Ice-banks, a well known and approved technique for process cooling in breweries and dairy plants, is again being used in the air-conditioning and refrigeration market, in which more attention is paid to user-friendliness and economical refrigeration. With the ice-bank, operating costs can be saved, driving power reduced, peak cooling load covered, and stand-by refrigeration and non-stop operation ensured. These features make it well suited for building air conditioning and process cooling. L.P.
