Summary
In the Antarctic and Greenland, international teams use drilling techniques to obtain ice-core samples enabling them to analyze climatic trends over the past 100,000 years. The results obtained may give a useful indication of climatic trends in the decades to come. This article was published in a 1973 issue of "La Recherche".
