Identification of domestic refrigerator models including cool storage.

Summary
To find operating conditions making it possible to achieve minimum electrical power consumption by appropriate temperature setting of the evaporator platform and refrigerator inner volume, a physical model has been developed. In order to characterize the model phenomena and to validate the model itself, an experiment was carried out on an existing domestic refrigerator. A lumped parameter model, including cool storage, was established. Simulation capabilities of the model were investigated and discussed in depth.
