Summary

THREE GROUPS OF CERVIX UTERI CANCER PATIENTS AT THE FIRST STAGE OF THE DISEASE WERE UNDER OBSERVATION. TUMOUR CRYODESTRUCTION FOLLOWED BY EXTENSIVE UTERUS EXTIRPATION WAS PERFORMED IN THE 1ST AND 2ND GROUPS. IN ADDITION THE 2ND GROUP RECEIVED A COURSE OF DISTANT GAMMA-THERAPY. TREATMENT IN THE 3RD GROUP INCLUDED A RADIATION THERAPY AND OPERATION. IT HAS BEEN FOUND THAT CRYOTREATMENT DOES NOT INHIBIT IMMUNOLOGICAL REACTIONS OF THE BODY AND HAS A STIMULATING EFFECT ON THEM.
