Summary

IT IS IMPORTANT TO ASSESS THE PATIENT'S IMMUNITY OR IMMUNOLOGICAL COMPETENCE PRIOR TO CRYOSURGERY, THEREBY PREVENTING IMMUNOLOGICALLY INDUCED AGGRAVATION AFTER CRYOSURGERY. TWELVE YEARS OF CLINICAL EXPERIENCE IN CRYOSURGERY SHOWED THAT OVERALL 3-YEAR SURVIVAL IN THE PRIMARY CANCER PATIENTS WAS 33.3%, AND 5-YEAR SURVIVAL WAS 17.7%. IT IS THE AIM OF THE AUTHOR TO ACHIEVE THE MOST BENEFICIAL EFFECTS OF CRYOSURGERY FOR THE PATIENTS WITH MALIGNANCIES WHICH WOULD OTHERWISE BE DIFFICULT TO TREAT BY CONVENTIONAL MEANS.
