BASED ON A STUDY OF THE RESISTANCE TO WEAR OF THE MAIN COMPONENTS OF THE NEW SEMI-HERMETIC PISTON COMPRESSOR, THE AUTHORS SHOW THE RATIONAL COMBINATIONS OF MATERIALS FOR VARIOUS COMPONENTS AND SURFACE COATINGS. THE RELIABILITY OF THE COMPRESSOR UNDER VARIOUS CONDITIONS WAS CALCULATED.
