A METHOD IS DESCRIBED FOR CALCULATING EXCHANGE COEFFICIENTS IN FINNED-TUBE COILS. USING TEST RESULTS, SOFTWARE CAN DETERMINE EXCHANGE LAWS, AND THEN SIMULATE THE OPERATION OF THE EXCHANGER UNDER ANY CONDITIONS. THE FIRST RESULTS ARE GIVEN, ALONG WITH THE FUTURE PROGRAMME. J.L.
