Indirect adiabatic cooling with air washer and sprayed heat exchanger.

Author(s) : KRAJCÍ Í.

Summary

The paper deals with indirect adiabatic cooling in air conditioning for summer conditions. The combination of a sprayed cross-flow heat exchanger and an air washer is presented. Indirect adiabatic cooling has lower efficiency; only a part of the coldness can be transferred. When the heat exchanger is sprayed by water, its heat transfer efficiency is increased and the device has some additional cooling heat flux.
