Summary

A LARGENUMBER OF TEST POINTS WITHIN A NEW BUILDING WERE MONITORED, INCLUDING GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY AND OTHER METHODS OF GAS MEASUREMENT. TRACER GAS MEASUREMENTS SHOWED INFILTRATION AND AIR MOVEMENT WITHIN THE BUILDING. ANALYSIS OF THE RESULTS SHOWED FAULTS IN CONSTRUCTION, WHICH WERE PARTLY IMPROVED BY CHANGES IN OPERATING SCHEDULES. 37 VOLATILE COMPOUNDS WERE IDENTIFIED, AND FURTHER RESEARCH INTO THE ACCEPTABLE LIMITS OF SOME OF THESE IS REQUIRED.
