Indoor air quality: fresh air fractions.
Author(s) : WALLACE R. G.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The required proportion of "outdoor" air to any one zone of an air system is defined by Australian Standard AS 1668, part 2. It will depend on the efficiencies of the central and any local air filters and the types of contaminants to be diluted. The calculation is complicated by the interactive factors. An iterative method is given, which will predict the proportion of nominally fresh air in any zone. A.R.T.
