Indoor climate and improvement possibilities in educational premises.
Author(s) : KOIV T. A., REBANE M., PARRE P.
Summary
The results of an indoor climate investigation in 7 schools in Tallinn are analyzed in the paper. In classrooms with natural air change, the carbon dioxide concentration at the end of the class is very high, up to 1.5-3.5 times more than the permitted level. With a high occupation rate in gymnasiums of Tallinn, the good indoor climate and permitted CO2 concentration at the end of the class can be provided only with the use of balanced ventilation.
