Summary

THE ELECTRIC FIELD PERPENDICULAR TO THE SURFACE CHANGES THE DENSITY OF ELECTRONS AND INCREASES THE VALUE OF ELECTRON-ELECTRON INTERACTION NEAR THE SURFACE, THUS CAUSING THE APPEARANCE OF NONUNIFORM SURFACE SUPERCONDUCTING STATE. THE CRITICAL TEMPERATURE AND MAGNETIC FIELD IN THESE SYSTEMS CAN BE VERY LARGE DUE TO THE WEAK EFFECT OF THE < PROXIMITY EFFECT > WHICH USUALLY REDUCES CRITICAL PARAMETERS OF A NARROW SUPERCONDUCTING LAYER IN A NONSUPERCONDUCTING METALLIC MEDIUM.
