Industrial heat pumps in Norway.

Summary

By January 1st 1990 about 10,000 heat pumps with a total capacity of 400 megawatts had been installed. Among these about 600 were industrial heat pumps with a capacity of approximately 100 megawatts, in the fish farming industry (220 heat pumps with an average capacity of 200 kilowatts), in the food and wood processing industry (15 large heat pumps) and finally in different fields of drying (wood, hides, fish, skins) which are very promising (about 300 heat pumps).
