Summary

FOR REFRIGERATION OF COMMERCIAL COLD ROOMS, FREEZER ROOMS AND CABINETS, AIR COOLED CONDENSING UNITS ARE MOSTLY USED. THE LAYOUT OF MACHINE ROOMS WITH AIR COOLED CONDENSING UNITS REQUIRES AN ADDITIONAL VENTILATION SYSTEM TO EVACUATE THE WASTE HEAT AND MAINTAIN THE PRESCRIBED CONDITIONS. METHODS OF REFRIGERATION MACHINE ROOM AND VENTILATION SYSTEM SIZING AND CONDENSING HEAT OUTPUT DETERMINATION ARE RECOMMENDED. POWER ECONOMY OF CENTRAL REFRIGERATION MACHINE ROOMS CAN BE IMPROVED BY THE USE OF WASTE HEAT FOR PROCESS WATER HEATING.
