INFLUENCE OF THE MASS TRANSFER ON THE TEMPERATURE FIELD IN POROUS REFRIGERATION INSULATIONS.

Author(s) : KALINOWSKI E., BUCEWICZ A.

Summary

HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER OCCURS SIMULTANEOUSLY DURING THE EXPLOITATION OF POROUS, OPEN-PORES MATERIALS WHICH ARE USED AS INSULATION OR BUILDING PARTITION. WHILE CALCULATING THE TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION IN THIS TYPE OF MATERIALS, THE CLASSICAL EQUATION OF HEAT CONDUCTION FOR SOLIDS IS MAINLY USED BUT THIS EQUATION DOES NOT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE INFLUENCE OF MASS MOTION ON THE TEMPERATURE FIELD. IN THIS PAPER, THE INFLUENCE OF A FLOW OF AIR THROUGH PORES, OF THEDIFFUSION OF STEAM AND OF THE MOTION OF FREE WATER ON THE TEMPERATURE FIELD ARE SHOWN.
