Summary
Adjustement and checking of air conditioning installations can be performed only by on-site measurements. Some practical suggestions are presented for the execution of these measurements. The measurements of basic air flow parameters (pressure, volumetric flow and speed) and measuring methods (Prandtl tube, turbine flowmeters, heated wire anemometers, laser Doppler anemometry) are summarized. Errors of non-site measurements are also considered.
