Summary
A SPECIAL ANALYSIS IS MADE FOR THE INTERNAL VOLUME RATIO OF THE SCROLL REFRIGERATING COMPRESSOR. THE STEP STRUCTURE, A NEW KIND OF STRUCTURE OF SCROLL COMPRESSOR, IS SUGGESTED AND A GENERAL METHOD OF CALCULATING ITS INTERNAL VOLUME RATIO IS GIVEN. IT TURNS OUT THAT THE STEP STRUCTURE OF THE SCROLL COMPRESSOR HAS A MUCH GREATER INTERNAL VOLUME RATIO THAN THE ORIGINAL STRUCTURE. AS A CONSEQUENCE, THIS STRUCTURE MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO USE A SINGLE STAGE SCROLL REFRIGERATING COMPRESSOR TO GET HIGH EFFICIENCY IN LOW-TEMPERATURE CONDITIONS.
