Summary

A new graphical method for modification of the involute wrap of the scroll compressor is presented. The definition of the modified angle as well as its sense is introduced by the authors. A scroll compressor that employs the results obtained through this method was developed, and the modified scroll wraps of the compressor mesh with each other perfectly.
