Investigation of a CO2 cooling cycle: flow conditions and distribution of lubricants.
Untersuchungen an einem CO2-Kältekreislauf: Strömungszustände und Schmierölverteilung.

Type of article: Article
Summary
The use of CO2 as a refrigerant has shown that under certain circumstances the refrigerating capacity can be decreased by optimal use of lubricants in the cooling cycle. The flow conditions of CO2-lubricant mixtures and the distribution of lubricants in a transcritical CO2 cooling cycle were evaluated by the authors.
