Summary

THE EFFICIENCY OF A FIBER-OPTICAL SYSTEM FOR DETECTION OF INTERFACE BOUNDARY IN CRYOGENIC LIQUIDS IS SHOWN AS A RESULT OF INVESTIGATIONS PERFORMED. SLUG, CHURN AND WISPY-ANNULAR REGIMES OF THE FLOW WERE REGISTERED IN A VERTICAL CHANNEL AT NATURAL NITROGEN CIRCULATION. VOID FRACTION AND TERMINAL SPEED OF VAPOUR PHASE ARE MEASURED AT THE OUTLET OF THE TEST SECTION IN A SLUG REGIME. THE MEASURING DATA AGREE SATISFACTORILY WITH THE CALCULATION.
