Large scale helium extraction from natural gas and liquefaction of helium.

Author(s) : BRÄUTIGAM M., CLAUSEN J.

Summary

The cryogenic technology in large-scale applications for helium extraction from natural gas and the liquefaction of helium is depicted. Based on a block diagram, the complete chain, starting with the pipeline downstream of the natural gas deposit to the final storage of liquid helium, and the individual process steps, special components and requirements for design and manufacturing are described.
