Line-by-line calculations of the absorption of infrared radiation by water vapour in a box-shaped enclosure filled with humid air.
Author(s) : SCHENKER G. N., KELLER B.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The result shows a non-negligible heat transfer of 3-6 watts/m3.K from the surface to the air due to the absorption by the water vapour. The absorption is mainly concentrated to an air layer of 10-30 cm near to the wall. The interaction is very much increased near to corners and edges of the room.
