Summary
These systems using a refrigerant have a decisive importance in "wet" processes where significant quantities of solvents must be recovered and where products have to remain pure. Although they can recover up to 99% or more solvents, the systems seldom reach the levels of solvent charge authorized by legislation, but can reduce the size of final-treatment plants considerably, and, hence, operation and recycling costs.
