THE PAPER DETAILS THE MAIN SOLUTIONS IN THE DESIGN OF LOW TEMPERATURE THERMODYNAMIC PLANT. SELECTION OF HALOGENATED REFRIGERANTS AS WORKING MEDIA, PLATE EVAPORATOR, SCREW OR TURBOCOMPRESSORS. THE DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM RESULTED NOT ONLY IN A SOLAR PLANT FOR IRRIGATION OR PUMPING AT A REMOTE PLACE, BUT ALSO IN THE POSSIBLE PRODUCTION OF EITHER ELECTRIC POWER OR REFRIGERATION OR FRESH WATER FROM BRINY WATERS, THIS HAVING BEEN REALISED AT DIFFERENT PLACES. THE SYSTEM CAN ALSO BE APPLIED TO THE RECOVERY OF ENERGY FROM EXHAUSTS OR HOT WATER, ESPECIALLY FOR PRODUCING MECHANICAL ENERGY FROM THERMAL SOURCES.
