Summary

THE PROPER SELECTION OF A PARAMETER RELATED TO MAINTENANCE WILL ENABLE ONE TO MEASURE A NUMBER OF PHYSICAL MAGNITUDES. THE MEASUREMENT ITSELF, HOWEVER, IS NOT SUFFICIENT ENOUGH TO ASSESS THE MAINTENANCE OF AN INSTALLATION AND IT SHOULD THEREFORE BE ASSOCIATED WITH THE INFLUENCE OF THE VARIOUS COMPONENTS OF A REFRIGERATION SYSTEM IN ORDER TO ASSESS THE APPROPRIATE MOMENT WHEN MAINTENANCE IS NECESSARY. A MICROPROCESSOR CAN BE USED TO PROGRAMME THIS INFORMATION, BUT IT IS POINTED OUT THAT THE ECONOMIC REALISATION OF SUCH A PROGRAMME DEPENDS UPON THE DESIGN OF THE REFRIGERATION INSTALLATION.
