Market breakthrough for capillary tube air-conditioning systems.
Author(s) : HERBST D.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Radiant cooling and heating panels can be formed by embedding small-bore water tubes in the ceilings, walls and other surfaces of the space. The primary air for ventilation must remove all latent heat, but flow rates will be less than for an all-air system, giving savings in space and air moving energy. In cooler climates, the water can be chilled in cooling towers. A.R.T.
