Summary
THE MEASUREMENT OF THE EFFICIENCY OF FAN-COIL UNITS IS MADE IN A CALORIMETER, IN CONFORMITY WITH THE STANDARDS IN FORCE (UNI CTI 7940). TESTS WERE CARRIED OUT, UNDER HOT OR COLD CONDITIONS, WITH AND WITHOUT CONDENSATION, ON SOME SERIES UNITS. THE RESULTS SHOW DISCREPANCIES THAT MAY LEAD A DESIGNER TO A WRONG SELECTION OF THE TYPE OF UNIT TO BE USED, WITH THE DANGER OF UNDERSIZING THE PLANT. THE OPINION OF THE DIFFERENT MANUFACTURERS WOULD BE DESIRABLE FOR DISCUSSING TEST RESULTS.
