Summary

A THEORETICAL MODEL IS PROPOSED WHERE OXYGEN WHICH IS A PART OF THE LATTICE OF HIGH TEMPERATURE SUPERCONDUCTORS (HTSC) EXISTS IN THE FORM OF AN ORDINARY OXIDE-ION, A DIATOMIC DIAMAGNETIC PEROXIDE-ION, A NONSTOICHIOMETRIC MOLECULAR OXYGEN SOLUTED EASILY IN THE LATTICE, OR A VIRTUAL ONE. THE DYNAMIC INTERACTION OF PAIRS IS REALIZED THROUGH A < RELAY-RACE > MECHANISM. THE MOTION IN THE CHAIN PRODUCES A MOTION OF A CORRELATED PAIR OF HOLES IN THE VALENCE BAND, RESULTING IN A CURRENT SUPERCONDUCTING STATE IN HTSC. THE CRITICAL TEMPERATURE OF BOSE CONDENSATION, IS ESTIMATED WHICH IS IN AGREEMENT WITH THE EXPERIMENTAL ONE.
