Mechanistic model of centrifugal chillers for HVAC system dynamics simulation.
Author(s) : WANG S., WANG J., BURNETT J.
Type of article: Article
Summary
A chiller model is developed to simulate the operational performance of centrifugal chillers based on the performance data from site measurement. This paper presents the model, the strategy for model parameter identification, and the applications and validation of the model on an existing multiple chilling system in a building and on a chiller using manufacturer's catalogue data.
