Mineral fibre filled cavity wall: hygrothermal properties.
Author(s) : SIMPSON A., O'CONNOR D. E., STUCKES A. D.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The paper presents a study concerning behaviour of moisture in a wall with cavities filled with insulation. According to differences of temperature between both sides of the wall, condensation occurs. Influence on thermal conductivity is discussed. Several walls were tested, and results were in line with those predicted by current theoretical models.
