Minimum outside airflow rates in presentation rooms and auditoriums, taking into account various air pollution levels, were analysed and are described in the article. The airflow rates required for decreasing the carbon dioxide concentration, removal of heat and moisture emitted by the human body as well as superfluous moisture and heat sources in the room are discussed. Tables, as well as practical remarks and recommendations, are included in the article.
