Mobile water-lithium bromide absorption machine using the engine exhaust gases as energy source.

Summary

A test was carried out on a 100-kilowatt diesel engine with temperatures and flow rates of exhaust gases ranging from the neutral position to the full charge. A prototype of a lithium-bromide absorption refrigeration unit of 7-kilowatt cooling capacity was developed. Data on energy saved and the experimental results are presented.
