Summary
The authors predict energy consumption of the fan of a heavy duty truck. The modelling simulates operation of the truck on the road. The model is divided into different parts. In the water circuit a double Laplace tranform is used to include the heat equation and thus determine temperatures and heat fluxes in the radiator. The heat transfer coefficient for the radiator was obtained by empirical calculation.
