A survey is given of control algorithms and strategies that can be used for the control of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and cooling systems. All kind of methods are discussed ranging from those used in traditional controllers to those used in advanced controllers (autotuning, adaptive, predictive and fuzzy logic controllers).
