Monitoring of PCM-Systems for building applications.

Number: pap. 11

Author(s) : WEINLÄDER H., KLINKER F.

Summary

ZAE Bayern coordinates and supervises two joint projects dealing with the monitoring of PCM-systems in buildings. Both projects focus on the energetic system performance as well as on comfort conditions and help the producers to get feedback about the systems acceptance. The first project showed the need for controlled measurements without user influence to acquire reliable systems data. However, measurements with user influence are essential to learn about the actual systems performance and the operation. That’s why the second project uses a monitoring concept with two phases:
Phase 1: Monitoring without user influence (well defined boundary conditions)
Phase 2: Monitoring with user influence (real boundary conditions)
